The shadow Civil Justice Council has launched a public consultation for a Protocol for the Participation of Vulnerable Parties and Witnesses in Civil Proceedings. The aim of the Protocol is to encourage, facilitate and support the attendance and full participation of vulnerable parties and witnesses in the civil litigation process. The Protocol will apply to civil proceedings in both the High Court and County Court Responses are welcome from anyone with views on the Protocol.
